21. 我們已經(jīng)發(fā)現(xiàn)很多人把自己的個(gè)人興趣看得比工作重要,至少那些老經(jīng)理們看上去是這樣。 老經(jīng)理們都認(rèn)為那些新人對(duì)形式的興趣超過(guò)內(nèi)容。問(wèn)題在于是老家伙們正確還是僅僅因?yàn)樗麄兊馁Y格老??jī)煞N觀點(diǎn)都應(yīng)該考慮。
Rule #22: A good technician, quality inspector, and straw boss are more important in obtaining a good product than all the paper and reviews. 22. 在得到一件好產(chǎn)品的過(guò)程中,一個(gè)好技師、質(zhì)檢員還有班組長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)比那些文件和檢查重要。
Rule #23: The source of most problems is people, but darned if they will admit it. Know the people working on your project to know what the real weak spots are. 23. 大多數(shù)麻煩的起因都是人,但沒(méi)有人會(huì)承認(rèn)。要想知道你的真正弱點(diǎn)就得了解在項(xiàng)目中工作的人。
Rule #24: One must pay close attention to workaholics, if they get going in the wrong direction, they can do a lot of damage in a short time. It is possible to overload them and cause premature burnout but hard to determine if the load is too much, since much of it is self generated. It is important to make sure such people take enough time off and that the workload does not exceed 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 times what is normal. 24. 一定要注意那些工作狂,他們一旦犯錯(cuò)誤就會(huì)馬上造成巨大損失。他們很有可能會(huì)超負(fù)荷運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)導(dǎo)致過(guò)早耗盡。但負(fù)荷是否過(guò)重很難判斷,因?yàn)楹芏嘈袨槎际亲园l(fā)的。重要的是一定要讓他們有充足的時(shí)間休息,工作量不要超過(guò)正常負(fù)荷的1/4到1/2。
Rule #25: Always try to negotiate your internal support at the lowest level. What you want is the support of the person doing the work, and the closer you can get to him in negotiations the better.
